Nike in a Nutshell

Amidst the backlash of using sweatshops with poor working conditions, Nike can't be denied for their legacy and products. This will not be a history lesson, considering that a lot of people probably heard the story. Phil Knight, waffles, beaverton, selling from his trunk, yada, yada, yada. What everybody knows about Nike, is their groundbreaking products that we all love and adore. Every year they release ideas and technology that is unprecedented. The aesthetics are lusted by every demographic which have lifted them to global icons, rewarded with loyal clienteles. Sneakers that revolutionized the game, with no signs of slowing down. Nike does it well.

  • Flywire- Filaments that function like cables on a suspension bridge and offer support precisely where it's needed.
  • Hyperfuse- Blend of synthetic material for a supportive base layer, mesh for lightweight breathability, and TPU film as a top skin.
  • Free- Deep slicing outsole and reverse flex grooves that encourage flexion and extension in both directions.
  • Shox- Springs that are hollowed out, combined with a Pebax dispersion plate.
  • Lunarlite- Phylon, with a Foam Pillow Waffle outsole that reconfigures the shoe into its orignal shape.
  • Flyknit-Yarns and fabric variations precisely engineered only where they are needed for a featherweight, formfitting and virtually seamless upper.

*List made by opinion. There are other styles I missed but this is a "nutshell" article. SORRY!
