Kevin Durant on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Last night Kevin Durant paid Jimmy Kimmel a visit. KD elaborated on his love for Oklahoma City, playing flag football during the NBA lockout and why he always has a backpack. The interview was pretty entertaining, it gave the casual fan a chance to see how Durant interacts off the court. KD might come off as a shy kid to some outsiders but the guy has a sense of humor. KD is just a laid back individual that lets his play on the court speak for itself.

Check out the interview below and don't miss Thursday night's showdown when the Oklahoma City Thunder face the Los Angeles Lakers on TNT

Nardwuar the Human Serviette

If you don't know Nardwuar, you must have been hiding under some big ass rock. (That's how the saying goes and I'm sticking to it). He interviews artists in the music industry from legends to up and coming. Nardwuar's way of interviewing people is extremely unique and according to most musicians, very creepy. He knows stories, people, locations that are influential and important to the artist's life. His attention to detail has made him the most knowledgable and respectable interviewer in the industry, despite his odd behavior. He gives vinyls and little gifts to the interviewee, which has become his niche. If you ever had the honor of being interviewed by Nardwuar the Human Serviette, that means you're doing something right. The most ironic thing happened about 3 days ago. Nardwuar interviewed the 4 people I've only been listening to for the past couple of months. A$AP Rocky, Action Bronson, Danny Brown, and Kendrick Lamar. This dude is psychic or some shit.

1990's Television

So for the people who never watched 90's television, I feel sorry for you. Eavesdrop on every drunk, high, lunch table conversation and there will always be a reference to shows we as 90's babies remembered watching. The plot, drama, rawness, and overall entertainment is so much better than what we see in 2012. There are exceptions like Spongebob, Boondocks and a whole lot more. 90's shows just feel different and a lot more authentic.

I have given myself a challenge and instead of posting pictures of the cast with the title, I'll post pictures of scenes or images from certain yet memorable points of the show that everyone should recognize. Try and keep up.

Peyton Manning Signs with the Denver Broncos

Two weeks ago The Indianapolis Colts did the unthinkable. They released Peyton Manning, even though the writing was already on the wall nobody could believe it until it actually happened. Well one teams loss is another teams gain. The Denver Broncos seized the opportunity to pick up one of the best quarterbacks of this generation. Yes they are rolling the dice with Manning, since he is coming off  multiple neck surgeries, but Denver was the first team that visited with Peyton so maybe he felt a sense of loyalty towards General Manager John Elway and Head Coach John Fox. Also Denver is desperate to rid themselves from Tim Tebow . It's no secret Elway and Fox are not fans of Tebow mania and reports out of Denver say Tebow will be traded before the season starts.

Why Denver? Yes Manning had better options, if he signed with the San Francisco 49ers they would be Super Bowl favorites. I think Manning has this competitive fire that drives him and he did not want to be known as the guy who took the easy way out. Manning wants a challenge that is why Denver and the Tennessee Titans were his top two choices.

Denver has some good building blocks, Manning only makes them stronger. I assume Willis McGahee will resign. Eric Decker is a good young wide receiver. Brandon Stokley had a great connection with Manning during his Indy days. Denver will only get stronger throughout the off season. What if the Broncos sign tight end Dallas Clark? He was cut by the Colts as well. Jeff Saturday is a free agent too. It will be interesting to see how everything falls into place in Denver.

Start off the week with...

A pair of Air Max 1 QS Sport Red. Released back in 09', I was beyond excited when I heard they were releasing. Nothing feels better than breaking out a new pair of shoes on a beautiful day as today.

Another Upset: #2 Duke Falls to #15 Lehigh

No. 15 Lehigh 75 No. 2 Duke 70

What is going on today. If you thought your bracket was ruined after Norfolk State upset Missouri, I can only imagine what your thinking now. This one was a real shocker. Another No. 2 seed lost to a No. 15 seed. Nobody ever expects Duke to lose this early in the tournament especially when there playing in front of a predominately home crowd in Greensboro North Carolina.

You have to give Lehigh major props though. They were the better team tonight. Following the script of Norfolk State's Kyle O'Quinn, Lehigh also had a leading man that took over the game when it mattered most. Junior C.J. McCollum scored 30 points dished out 6 assist and grabbed 7 rebounds, Impressive.

Anytime a program as successful as Duke loses this early in the tournament  its a major shock. Duke shot itself in the foot by only converting 6-26 3-point field goals, and now head into the offseason way to early.

Today has been one of the wildest days in NCCA Tournament history. Until today it had been 11 years since a No. 15 seed defeated a No. 2 seed. It happened twice today.

JA's 5 Essentials

American Crew Pomade holds the hair in place through wind, rain, and that annoying trick who wants to pet the head.

A little tip: Apply it to the pressure points where heat is highly produced; neck, wrist, chest. Use Gio and hoes be jumpin on that pogo more than a little white girl in the burbs.
If you keep switching deodorant, you are more prone to be smelling like boiled quarters. I've been using Axe Phoenix since forever. It keeps me fresh and smelling good through the hottest and longest days.
Ask your side chick and main course woman if they like kissing split sausages. I thought so. Swipe this on, feel the good burn and I ensure you will get your LL Cool J on.
Been using this since I got out the womb. Parents worked at the hospital and brought samples home. Ashy to classy is the motto. Johnson's never disappoints, trust me. I've been Ash-Free since 1990.

UPSET ALERT: #15 Norfolk State Upsets #2 Missouri

NORFOLK STATE UPSETS MISSOURI!!!

One of the biggest upsets in NCAA Tournament history just took place. No. 15 seed Norfolk State upset No. 2 seed Missouri 86-84. All I can say right now... Hows your bracket looking after that SHOCKER???

Respect to Kyle O'Quinn he put Norfolk State on his back with 26 points and 14 rebounds. After the game showed his gratitude to his coaching staff. Hopefully Norfolk State can become that Cinderella team everyone follows. Since they already ruined my bracket I'm on the bandwagon good luck against the No. 7 seed Florida Gators on Sunday.

Nike in a Nutshell

Amidst the backlash of using sweatshops with poor working conditions, Nike can't be denied for their legacy and products. This will not be a history lesson, considering that a lot of people probably heard the story. Phil Knight, waffles, beaverton, selling from his trunk, yada, yada, yada. What everybody knows about Nike, is their groundbreaking products that we all love and adore. Every year they release ideas and technology that is unprecedented. The aesthetics are lusted by every demographic which have lifted them to global icons, rewarded with loyal clienteles. Sneakers that revolutionized the game, with no signs of slowing down. Nike does it well.

  • Flywire- Filaments that function like cables on a suspension bridge and offer support precisely where it's needed.
  • Hyperfuse- Blend of synthetic material for a supportive base layer, mesh for lightweight breathability, and TPU film as a top skin.
  • Free- Deep slicing outsole and reverse flex grooves that encourage flexion and extension in both directions.
  • Shox- Springs that are hollowed out, combined with a Pebax dispersion plate.
  • Lunarlite- Phylon, with a Foam Pillow Waffle outsole that reconfigures the shoe into its orignal shape.
  • Flyknit-Yarns and fabric variations precisely engineered only where they are needed for a featherweight, formfitting and virtually seamless upper.

*List made by opinion. There are other styles I missed but this is a "nutshell" article. SORRY!

NBA Trade Deadline Deals

Lakers get:
G Ramon Sessions
F Christian Eyenga
Rights to swap Heat's 2013 first-round draft pick
Cavaliers get:
F Luke Walton
F Jason Kapono
2012 first-round pick (lottery-protected)
The Lakers get the PG they wanted and free up cap space. Win win for the Lake Show.
Rockets get:
G Derek Fisher
2012 first-round pick (acquired from Dallas in Lamar Odom trade)
Lakers get:
F/C Jordan Hill
I wonder how Kobe feels about this one. The Lakers decide to trade longtime PG D-Fish after trading for Sessions. Fisher was the emotional leader for the Lake Show and his presence will be missed in the locker room. It will be interesting to see how Jordan Hill fits in to the Lakers rotation, people forget Hill is a former lottery pick.
Wizards get:
F/C Nene
F Brian Cook
Future second-round pick
Clippers get:                                                                                                                          G Nick Young
Nuggets get:
C JaVale McGee
F/C Ronny Turiaf
The Wizards now have there center of the future in NeNe, Nick Young will slide in the 2-spot for the Clippers as he returns home to LA. JaVale McGee receives a change of scenery as Denver hopes they can get the best out of the talented but anemic center.
Spurs get:                                                                                                                               F/G Stephen Jackson
Warriors get:
F Richard Jefferson
Conditional first-round pick
Wasn't Stephen Jackson just traded to the Warriors earlier this week? Well Golden State decided to trade him to another one of his former teams as he will now provide the San Antonio Spurs a proven scoring punch off the bench. Jackson was apart of the 2003 NBA Championship team and still has an excellent relationship with Head Coach Greg Popovich. The Spurs decided to get rid of Jefferson who became a liability for the Spurs and never fit in the Spurs system.
Nets get:                                                                                                                                  F Gerald Wallace
Blazers get:
F/C Mehmet Okur
F Shawne Williams
Protected first-round pick
The Blazers started there fire sale by shipping Gerald Wallace to New Jersey in a trade that benefits the Nets way more then the Blazers. Expect Wallace to be used as a building block for the Nets as they hope to keep Deron Williams this summer as they approach there move to Brooklyn next season.

Rockets get:                                                                                                                          C Marcus Camby

Blazers get:                                                                                                                  C Hasheem Thabeet                                                                                                                 G Jonny Flynn                                                                                                                       2012 second-round draft pick
In another trade that doesn't benefit Portland. The Blazers ship Marcus Camby to Houston. The Rockets add some defensive presence, as they make a push for the playoffs.

Pacers get:                                                                                                                          G Leandro Barbosa

Raptors get:
Second-round draft pick
Barbosa gives the Pacers much needed bench scoring. "The one man fast break" will bring tons of energy to Indiana.

Sixers get:                                                                                                                            G Sam Young

Grizzlies get:
Future considerations
Rights to Ricky Sanchez
Philly adds another wing player to it's arsenal.

Real Talk NY: Bow Wow Speaks on Receiving Advice From Birdman, Sees Himself Being A Full Time Actor In 5 Years + More

Hard to believe Bow Wow is 25 years-old. It seems like he's been in the rap game forever. Now apart of the YMCMB team, Bow Wow is still going strong. Mr. 106 and Park is slated to release his seventh studio album "Underrated" June 12th. His first album with Cash Money records. Even though Bow Wow is a veteran in the hip-hop world he is not ready to drop the mic just yet.

In his interview with Real Talk NY Bow Wow shares advice Birdaman has given him, what he really thinks about his haters and where he sees himself in five years.

Interview by: Nigel D

On Birdman
Bow Wow: "Yeah me and Birdman talk all the time. He's always telling me keep my head up stay focused stay positive he like what I'm doing he can tell I'm hungry. He always says you a superstar  young boy, knowing that I have a dude like that in my corner backing me up 110 is definitely a good feeling. Aside from that like I said he's always having that God Father talks with me, when you talk to Birdman it's like you sitting down with the Godfather we always just chop it up. It don't have to be about business. It could be about life, it could be about personal stuff. It could be about whatever."

On Haters
Bow Wow:  "I always tell those people, I don't think there's no such thing as haters. I just think deep down inside it's people that really like you. I think there just frustrated getting to where they need to be in life. So it's just easy to point the finger at the person that's doing it and automatically not like that because you're having a hard time trying to figure out how to get to that point. So with that being said don't hate because it's not going to get you nowhere. Stay positive keep grinding surround yourself with real people, honest people. When I say real people I ain't talking about goons I'm talking about people that genuinely care for you. Care for your well being and just practice your craft continue to just march forward and really just practice and stay on it go to the DJ's whatever in life you wanna accomplish stay at set the goals, set it and go for it. And don't listen to anyone who ain't on the same path or not gonna help you get to were your trying to get to. Simple as that."

Where do you see your in 5 years?
Bow Wow: "In five years I'm still gonna look the same way. A n**** still gonna look like he 16. Probably on the movie screen, full time on the movie screen. Full time on that movie screen full time. Were gonna slowly make that transition when the time right. Right now I'm having to much fun with this rap s*** ....."
